I don't go to church much. I'm a very lazy roman catholic. Anyway, God created satan or the devil because he can't exist without him. It's like God (good) satan or the devil (bad). If satan or the devil doesn't exist, who will believe that God is good?

The way to actually prove God exists is if he showed up and said 'Hey Athiests! I'm God. PWNED!' That is why faith is a core element of religon. Unless of course you worship some idol like... a rock on a shelf in your livingroom. Well then your god does exist (provided that the rock is not a imaginary 1). As to God not being perfect because he made something with the ability to be imperfect...I have a child and I often know b4 he does something stupid that he is gonna do it. However I often let him do it because he will never learn otherwise. Under the logic that God is imperfect because he made something that could act of it's own free will and it acted badly is as ludicrous as say arresting the parent of a perfectly capable adult for a crime the offspring commits. Boils down to God is not responsible for your mistakes because he is not controlling you.
Ok so assuming God exists God knows all. So he knows the future... Potentially he knows all possible futures. Think of it like a ever widening series of the letter 'y' were each branch of the letter connects to another Y into infinity. Good descision vs. Bad... each descion leads to another. Even if you don't believe he exists what the bible says is God is not a dictator he doesn't force HIS will upon us. Hence why we rebel against goverments that try and take away our freedom.

Nature223: Well then, "that" makes God IMPERFECT since he created something that could turn against him. And, if he knew the future, like God is supposed to, then he "set him up" to do evil and become Satan. Makes a lot of sense doesn't it.
So, he made an angel to become Satan, so Satan could tempt people, and they'd turn to God for saving. Kinda cruel and sadistic God is, isn't he?

I mean , it's not needed to destroy our hopes, dreams, prayers , wishes and living aims with such descriptions..Billions believed in God for thousands of years..And claims with simple descriptions of few persons cannot defeat the claims of billions (if you believe in democracy).

So, religious thinking goes: we don't know everything, therefore thousands of years of superstition prove that god exists

Everything in the universe is probably perfect ,but does not need to be logic or does not need to look perfect for you ..You think with some simple equations .But today it's been discovered that universe is more complicated than you can guess (not so simple as ''-2+2=4 seems logic, so must be good)..You must learn somethings about 5th - 10th dimensions -parallel universes , exceeding the speed of light and vanishing from our universe , appearing in other dimensions ..Do you know something about CERN experiments..Mankind still does not know enough and needs to investigate much about the spiritual or unvisible features of our universe or extra universal environment..So ,considering our thousands of years of religious past such unproven ,simple denials and claims are injustice and insolence.

I love it.
Hey I've got one for you: If God "is" God, and therefore "perfect", and he created everything, then how & why would he have created an angel so "imperfect" it became the Devil. And, also since "everything" is NOT perfect, then he must not be perfect.
There is no logic in religion. Superstitious clap-trap.
