McCarthyism, that separated the world into black and white, is long outdated, as you have had Fed Laws, social insurance, and state schools/colleges/charities for all your life. Please, whatever you do, don't equate leftism with despotic communism. An'where there is social health-care, differential taxes, free education, labour unions, etc, there is socialism. Anywhere liberalism prevails, there is leftism. I understand your feeling of communism. I personally accept it only in its ideal form. But communism is NOT socialism, nor leftism, no, not at all.

Ever been to socialist country, they tell there people that they're better than them, we know what's better for you, yeah some rights they have, when gov officials decide what and when you'll get health care and medical service, some freedom, I guess that is why those people come to U.S to get there surgeries and service, some freedom over there, been to Venezuela, some rights they have there too.
