Just read the chart: They spend more money on war and less on cancer which results in less death from terrorists and more from cancer. If they spend MORE money on cancer research they'd probably discover a cure which will result in less people dying from it. If they spend LESS money on war in the middle east, the terrorist will grow restless and attack us. It's logic everyone understands (which explains high support for war)
