Probably caused by freezing spray (spray caused by wind/ the movement of the boat freezes on it). this can be quite dangerous as it can cause the ship to capsize due to becoming top heavy. (I spent many years on a yacht and my dad told me about it) Sheba PS How do you know it is from Russia @ny@no name or anything can be sen for ice.
