You're both right but the kitten is sick. I have had cats all my life, and have a house full now. Most of them shelter cats or were ferel. I have nursed many to health. The eyelids do not stay this way when the cats eyes are open. The kitten has mucous in it's nostrils and it's tongue is pale.

all the dog is pulling is the strip that is folded that made the hem. Everything else that was cut out is gone. You can see the straight cut upward on the right side and then the ragged cutting out in the circle. Then the effort to try to make it look ragged.It would be ripped, shredded. You are right-dog definitely needs to either a: be taken outside more often to run, play, and exercise or b: taken to vet or given attention by owner. One way or another nails need to be either worn down naturally or trimmed. it does hurt them to walk when they are this long.

I hear what you're saying @ny@, but I also believe a lot of people neglect to consider the animal in various situations. I have seen owners with sweaters on their dog with a temp of 94 degrees. This may be "so cute" to them, but everyone needs to consider the animals health and comfort.
